One year after Project Galing campaign started....

The date was June 13, 2005 when Project Galing campaign started. Below was our PANIG posting to thank our supporters.

To: Project Galing Donors

We wish to provide you an update on Project Galing. The first Galing
Balikbayan Box was delivered yesterday at Fame Cargo International
Office in Doraville. It will be received by Ms. Velma Daya, who is
in charge of distributing the items to the indigent children attending
DayCare in one of the Baranggays in Lucban, Quezon.

We wish to thank Project Galing Donors & Supporters:

We are now in the process of filling up Project Galing Box 2. Thanks

Please continue to save those gently used educational materials to
send to the Philippines.

Suppport Project Galing by donating new or slightly-used educational
materials & supplies for children up to age 7. This project benefits
pre-school & kindergarten-age indigent children of Lucban, Quezon,
Philippines.

Items being collected are:
- books
- CDs & tapes
- pencils & coloring materials

AND Cleaning supplies:

- tooth brush & paste
- soap

My Aunt Velma Daya, a philanthropist, (67 yrs. old), single, with no
children, retired US citizen and a former medical technologist. She
is also a long time treasurer for the San Luis Obispo Catholic Church.
