Filipino kids Eleazar and Empamano of Galing Lucban represents the Philippines at Beijing Olympic Art
Galing Foundation, Inc. announces that the Beijing Olympic Art Exhibition opened last June 1 at the Millennium Monument Museum. Selected paintings from the Philippines were artworks from children of Galing Lucban, namely Nico C. Eleazar and Cecil Empamano.
The Exhibition will travel from Beijing, to the United Nations gallery in New York and in Atlanta's Youth Art Connection Gallery and Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport Gallery.
"Thanks to Galing Foundation, Inc. and our other wonderful Paint Pals around the world, we received art from kids in 66 countries -- one-third of the countries in the world on six continents! We plan to produce a book about the exhibition." says Linden Longino, International Paint Pals
IPP asked why GFI finds the Program important. "The importance of the Olympic Art has enabled Filipino indigent children to speak from their heart to the world which they are a great part of, of their definition and vision of what true love, peace and humanity is all about, for the benefit of the current and future generations.
We need to see and create that great future not only for our own children but for the rest of the children all over the world." says Toni Daya-Luetgers, Galing Foundation, Inc.
The artworks can be viewed by visiting International Paint Pals' website: www.paintpals.org
