Munting Tinig began rehearsals for Dogwood Festival
March 9, 2010, Acworth, GA
Galing Foundation, Inc. (Outreach Partnership Program) with Munting Tinig have began rehearsals last Sunday, March 7. Under the music direction of Ms. Virgie Baccay & assistance from Ms. Myrtle Yap, the children began singing Filipino folk songs such as "Bahay Kubo" & "Leron-Leron Sinta" in preparation for the 74th annual Dogwood Festival (International Stage) at Piedmont Park.
Rehearsals are scheduled on:
1. Sunday, March 14 (1-3pm) Rehearsal
2. Sunday, March 21 (3-4:30 pm) Rehearsal
3. TBA Week of April 4 (Fulton County spring break)
4. Sunday, April 11 (1-3pm) Rehearsal
5. Saturday, April 17 Day of Performance
6. Sunday, April 25 Awards & Celebration
