A Message of Gratitude from Cross of Life Social Concerns Committee

Cross of Life's 3rd International Dinner

Thank You * Zikomokwanbiri * Shukriyaa * Salamat * Komapsumnida

Our sincere thanks to all volunteers, donors, sponsors and guests who have joined us in support of Cross of Life’s International Dinner "Language of Love" held Saturday, October 6 benefiting our brothers and sisters across the globe.

Pastor Jeong Kim, Heidl Wouk, Toni Luetgers, Arjho Turner, Hermon Rao, Chim Bvumbwe, and Denise Powell led prayer in 7 different languages!

We were delighted to hear 10 year old Vivian Borg sing so beautifully!

Tim Heyerdahl, Gary Halverson, Toni Luetgers, Chim Bvumbwe, Hermon Rao, Denise Powell, Faith Bvumbwe, Pastor Jeong Kim, Young Kim, Danny Kim and Chris Kim shared their musical talents.

Don Wyman (left) was our emcee for the Live Auction and is pictured below enjoying fellowship with Craig Heydon and Jim Heiser.

Toni Luetgers sang a Filipino song at Cross of Life for the first time.

We had 85 people including COL members, friends and sponsors who participated in the International Dinner.  All food was donated and represented 15+ countries from Asia, Africa, Europe and North America.

Your prayers, kindness and generosity continue to touch hearts and change lives for God's glory.  We thank you and our sponsors: Alpha Soda, Shane’s Rib Shack, India Chef Restaurant, Soho Salon, Fernbank Museum, Northpoint Innovative Solutions, Crabapple Tutoring, Scentsy, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Adventures in Balance, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, High Museum of Art Atlanta, That’s What’s Up Catering, and Good Time Entertainment for your support!

We raised a total of $4526 including $1500 in matching funds from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.  All proceeds benefit the Galing Foundation, Padhar Mission School, and Malawi Missions.

Thank you for your generous support!
