2012 Annual Report

Programs & Activities:
GFI L.D.E.R.A. Program (Library Development & Educational Resource Assistance) a system of receiving new and gently used quality educational resources from local donors for distribution in the Philippines through its outreach coordinating (volunteer) team of partners.
GFI Philippine Outreach includes recipients from the provinces of Sarangani Province and South Cotabato through the following schools & public library:
1. Kipalkuda Elementary School
2. Landan National High School
3. Maligo Day Care Center
4. Maligo Elementary School
5. Maligo Public Library
GFI shipped a total of 31 “balikbayan” boxes
GFI  C.V.P. (Civic and Leadership Programs), a system of coordination created to  produce and organize  programs that are designed to promote civic and leadership information. 
GFI Youth Leadership Award program includes students from the State of Georgia and Mindanao Awarded 4 Filipino American students from the State of Georgia during the “Gratitude, Goodwill & Compassion” event held on Dec. 7 and 2 Filipino students from Mindanao.
GFI P.S.P. (Partnership and Support Program), a system of coordination that promotes collaboration with organizations and advocacy groups established for the purpose of education, civic leadership and cultural literacy. 
GFI Partnership Program includes NW PhilAm Family Easter Picnic, Dogwood Festival, OCA Summer Family Picnic, Queen of Angels End of School Year Book Drive, Friends of Roswell, FSA (Filipino Student Assoc.) UGA, Asian Pacific American Heritage Month at National Archives, Cross of Life VBS & Social Concerns International Dinner Benefit, Philippine Consular Outreach, Fernbank Museum’s Winter Wonderland & California Pizza Kitchen Fundraising
